Join us June 27th for a trip to the Windy City for a Taste of Chicago. Exotic aromas permeate the air form more than 70 outside restaurant kitchens in historic Grant Park. Nobody will leave hungry or empty-handed from this place!

This year marks the 29th annual Taste of Chicago. This ethnic and regional event  features foods from over 70 restaurants, cooking demonstrations, live music from various artist, family events, sports area, fire works and so much more.

Taste of Chicago is a food lover’s dream! If you love to eat and try new foods then Chicago is the place for you to be.

If the Taste of Chicago doesn’t interest you, we will also be stopping at each of the museums in the area and the aquarium. For a limited time only the cost of this trip is $19 plus the cost of food or tickets at the event. Don’t pass up this limited time offer! A tank of gas would cost more than a round trip ticket to visit the windy city! We will be meeting at the Noblesville High School parking lot, the bus leaves at 6:30 a.m. and plan on returning around 11:00 p.m.

Leave the driving to me! See you soon!

Hi fellow travlers.

Our trip to Chicago is upon us, so here is the itinerary and other information for our day in the Windy City. We will depart from Noblesville High School at 7:00 a.m. I’ll make 3 stops in Chicago and you can get off the bus at any one of them: Museum of Science and Industry, Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium, and Millennium Park in downtown Chicago (Magnificent Mile, State St, Navy Pier, Water Tower Place, Grant Park with Taste of Chicago, ect). I will give you a Chicago map to get you started and then you can just explore, eat, visit, shop, hike, and tour to your heart’s delight. Dress: casual and comfy. Admission to museums, food, and bail bond not included. Hey, what do you expect for 19 bucks!? The bus is nice, restroom equipped. We’ll have a complimentary snack, beverage service (sounds like the airlines!), and movies; feel free to bring a pillow, books, or CD player to make yourself right at home. We’ll leave Chicago at 6:00 p.m. and pick everybody up in reverse order. We’ll stop at Cracker Barrel in Merrillville for supper around 7-7:30 p.m. and should get back to Noblesville between 11pm-midnight. If you haven’t paid, please send a check to Charlie Harris, 239 Ashbourne Dr. Noblesville, IN 46060 or visit the new website at www.chuckswagontours.comto pay via paypal. If you have any questions or need anything at all, feel free to call me at 317-626-0099. You can browse www.choosechicago.com to check out some things to do in Chicago, places to visit and eat. So leave you cares at home, bring your spirit of adventure, ’cause we’re off for a great day in a great city.
See you Saturday morning!!

  1. We are interested in reserving reservations for this day trip to Taste of Chicago on June 26th. There will be 2 for sure (me and my wife). There may be 4 more people I just have to hear from them. They need to tell me by tomorrow or the next day. How do we reserve out seat?

Will let you know as soon as I hear from anyone else. Do you know how we can reserve and pay yet? Do you have enough to go? Is that also the hold up?
